This accessory was born out of my frustration for forgetting what I name my custom fields, snippets and global variables. Now, you have an accessory to use as reference for building your templates. Just click on the EE variable you want to use and it will copy it to your clipboard.

Note: This add-on’s original author is Matthew Krivanek, but has been turned over to Causing Effect for support and development.

A great concept, but interference with WYGWAM means it can’t be used reliably.

The JavaScript behind this needs some attention. I’ve issues with several other addons, and the issues go away when Template Variables is uninstalled.

A MUST HAVE for me – this accessory helps speed things up and just makes life easier with awesome added convenience :) saves me so much time and resource not having to open up all these multiple tabs to access field names, variables, etc. LOVE IT

I am right there with everyone else on this one. An amazingly simple concept though, so so helpful. I like how it’s right there where you need it at all times.

This is a must have add-on. Great time saver where you can see all your template variables while your editing your template. Then you can simply click the variable name to copy ready to paste into your template code. Awesome.

This add-on is a must-have for and serious developer building / coding templates in EE. You can easily look-up custom fields, snippets, and global variables, copy to your clipboard, and paste into your code.

This is an absolutely fabulous accessory. I was always having to open additional tabs to remember my custom fields, snippets, and global variables. NO MORE!!! This is actually a bit more detailed than i needed, but better to have to much than not enough right? Awesome job on this Matthew Thanks!
