Uncaught ReferenceError: Matrix is not defined

I know this was previously filed and discussed. However, I just upgraded a site to EE 2.7.0, Matrix 2.5.6, and VZ URL 2.3.0, and I’m encountering this issue as well.
If I have a channel that contains a VZ URL fieldtype, then I get the above error—plus some weird display issues, like the contents of the EE file upload modal appearing below the publish/edit form. (See attached screenshot.)
However, if I remove the VZ URL field, or I add a Matrix field, then everything looks fine and I don’t get the above error.
I’ve tried installing the most recent version of VZ URL from GitHub, but that didn’t fix it.
