Hello Eli,

I’m having trouble getting the map url with the Address fieldtype is used in a Low Variable. Should it live inside the tag pair or can I call it by its single tag name.

Neither {lv_address:map_url source=“google”} nor {lv_address:static_map source=“google”} seem to pull any data inside or outside of the the tag pair.

Sorry for the delay. I never got notified of this forum post.

The problem here is that LV doesn’t allow for multiple tags from one field. Essentially, it supports the {address_field} tag, but not the {address_field:map_url}, {address_field:static_map}, etc. tags. In theory, I could “fake” them using a

tag parameter on the main tag, and I will make a note to look into that for the next VZ Address update.

Just bumping this thread to see if this was part of 1.4.0?

I’m using the parse variant on Low Vars but not able to get a map url.

No, sorry. I’m afraid I haven’t had time to look into this just yet. I’ll get to it eventually, or if any of you need it now, I always welcome pull requests :)
