I’ve got Snippet Sync installed and correctly syncing .html files to snippets with the default prefix “snippet:”—
However, these newly created snippets are “This Site Only” by default. When attempting to save as “All Sites”, the colon used in the default prefix throws a “disallowed character” error.
Removing the colon in the snippet prefix corrects the issue.

Thanks Ryan. Looks to be an unfortunate limitation of EE’s snippet naming convention.

Yeah so far it just looks like with MSM installed you need to not use colons in snippet names. We’ll see if there’s a way to work around this but if not I’d recommend changing the prefix to “snippet_”. You will need to manually rename the files to match the names set in the database.

Ya… Not a major issue, I suppose. Nothing you can do!
Thanks for the reply.
