modules version # doesn’t upgrade

In EE 2.1.3: had sitemap 2.3.1 installed and replaced with 2.4.1. The version # did not show the updatede version when running module update or completely uninstalling and reinstalling.

sounds strange. can you go into the Sitemap module page, then check the version number on the modules page. also check the Sitemap extension version number on the extensions page.

Both the sitemap module & extension version numbers remain 2.3.1. Chris

please ensure that you correctly uploaded the latest files. you ca also open the file upd.sitemap.php and check the version number there.

The downloads from your site are not the correct versions. For those of us who purchased before you sold on devot-ee the links from your site are not downloading the current versions ie: Downloads this AM show:
class Sitemap_upd {
var $version = ‘2.3.1’;
class Firemail_upd {
var $version = ‘1.7.4’;
