Hi,
My email notifications that arrive all all properly formated and HMTL’d… except if the title of the post contains a bracket…
example… title = event one (am)
the resultant email that arrives is then borked…..
X-Mailer: ExpressionEngine 2.2.1 X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Message-ID: <4e1347e8e07e7@domain.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="B_ALT_4e1347e8e084c" This is a multi-part message in MIME format. Your email application may not support this format. --B_ALT_4e1347e8e084c Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
etc etc etc....
looks like there needs to be a character exception added :)

Hi again :)
I can’t see what in your little snippet is borked.. anything that might be troublesome would probably be underneath your etc etc line surely?
I tried creating a simple entry with brackets in the title and can’t replicate it. Also we just use the built in EE email library, so if invalid emails are being generated it’s probably an EE bug. Which version of EE are you using?
Perhaps you could forward the offending email to me (as an attachment rather than inline if possible) adrian@crescendo.net.nz.
Cheers
Adrian
