I’m very interested in this add-on for a client project, but need to clarify something first.
Can I set up a form to send notifications to different people based on a drop-down menu in the form? In other words, I have a drop-down with three options: A, B and C. If a visitor completes the form and selects A, the notification email gets routed to me. If they select B, the notification emails goes somewhere else. Select C, and it goes to a third recipient.
Possible with this add-on, out of the box without any significant modification?

Yes, ProForm can do this very easily.
The feature is called “Notification Field”. You can configure two such fields on the form’s settings page. More details on the specific configuration items here are in the documentation.
Basically what you need to do is:
1. Create a new List type field with the options for emails to notify. This can use different labels for the options - such as “Sales Department” or “Support Department”, but the actual values for each option must be the email address to send the notification to. See the List type under the Field Types list for info on how to specify the list options.
2. Fill in one of the Notification Field groups, with the option Email Field set to the name of the field created in step 1, and the template and subject set appropriately. Be sure to also check Enable Group for the group in order to make it’s notification active.
That’s all you should have to do to get it to work.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll check it out further this coming week, but sounds like this is what I’m looking for.

Thanks for the follow-up. I ended up going a simpler route for that particular situation, but have several projects in the pipeline where something similar will be needed. I’ll keep ProForm in mind.
