Trouble importing template in Firemail

I had this working at one point but now it is not importing my template.
I have a template group in EE, and in the Firemail module settings, that group is selected.
And it appears that the template is Sync’d.
Preferred browser is Firefox but can’t get the import template to work.
however…
If i use a different browser, it imports the template but won’t send, so the status is Incomplete in Firemail.
then…
If i open that incomplete email in Firefox it will send fine.
Client’s preference is to use FireFox.
Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?

what versions of EE and FireMail? also please check for any javascript errors…

EE 2 and Firemail 1.8.1
also, when i had it working all the links looked like
http://www.binghamton.edu/dateline/index.php?ACT=26&spoor=bfae36bc34ce0eb3aaaa2182ebbdfbd9&link_id=2433
is this some sort of tracker? I turned off all the tracker email settings in EE but they all still contain that “ACT string”
Just updated to Firemail 1.8.2 and the import template seems to be more consistent now.
