Email not sending to all members in a group

Hi,
I am having an issue where if I select a member group to send emails to not all the members in that group get the email sent. For example the group may have 500 members in it and FireMail will only report 490 emails sent.
I worked out that this was basically because each time a new member registers the settings for Accept email from site admins/other members of this site (found in My Account > Email Settings) are all de-selected.
Is there a way to send mail to members regardless of this setting? Like the option in the Communicate tool “send only to members who have chosen to accept email” which you can turn off.
At the moment each time a new member register I have to go in and turn on all the settings…unless there is some way of turning them all on my default that I’ve missed.
Any help greatly appreciated! An otherwise brilliant addon!
