Hi Steven, I’m trying this with a fresh install of Bootstrap 2 and get:
parse error: failed at `filter: e(%(“alpha(opacity=%d)”, @opacity));` /www/public_html/assets/less/mixins.less on line 436”
Wondering if this addon is still supported and if this can be fixed?

I had the same issue. To fix this just download the latest version of lessphp from here http://leafo.net/lessphp/#download
This is a pretty neat addon and would merit an update to fix this issue.
