Crop anchor parameter

File this under “Feature Request”, but would like the ability when cropping to be able to anchor the crop to a specific part of the image.

When cropping, the image is scaled down and then cropped in the middle. Since I’m taking screenshots of websites that are vertical in nature and resizing the thumbnails down to a square, the cropping cuts off the bottom and (most importantly) the top of the original image. To be able control what edge stays in the resize by adding a crop_edge_anchor=“top”, “left”,“bottom”,etc. parameter would work perfectly for this scenario and would keep me from having to add a separate thumbnail manually. I create square thumbnails from non-square images in almost every site I do so this would be invaluable to me.
