PHP-errors for configure and import

Using a CSV file to update a channel on a website. After uploading the entire site from dev to the production server, i wanted to change the filename / url in the settings for the import routine. If i click on configure, it exits with a PHP-error. (had to make a complete new import set)

Severity: Notice
Message: unserialize() [function.unserialize]: Error at offset 695 of 890 bytes

And if you run the import on a server that has PHP in safe-mode, you get lots of notices.
