Hello,
I just purchased this plugin and am having difficulty getting it to work.
I am using the default location of the “made” directory and have set the correct permissions but no images are being created there.
I am using the following tag pair:
{exp:ce_img:pair src="{my_image_field_name}" max_width="164"} <img src="{made}" alt="" width="{width}" height="{height}" /> {/exp:ce_img:pair}
The img tag does not even display in the HTML.
I tried setting debug=“yes” but get no output when I view the page source.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi mediapimp!
You need to check your debug messages to find out what is going on. Please set debug=“yes”, and enable EE’s template debug console (see debug= for more info on how to enable the debug console).
You will want to make sure the value for the src= parameter being passed in is what you expect and that the base path matches your actual server base path.
Let me know what you find out. :)

It looks like the base path may be incorrect.
I added the correct path to the EE config.php file, but the debugger is still showing the wrong path.
Any idea why that would be?

I believe that setting is supposed to be added to index.php for EE2 (path.php for EE1). :)

I think my post was probably not clear.
I meant to say that added the CE Image Basic Config Items to config.php. I set the full path to the image cache there.

No problem mediapimp. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
The cache folders should have relative paths to document root.
To correct the base path, you will want to take a look at “Setting To Override Document Root” in the Advanced Configuration Settings .
Please let me know if that resolved the issue.

That did the trick!
Thank you so much for your fast replies. That’s what I call tech support!
I now plan to use this plugin for all EE sites I do from now on.
Thank you!
