EE 2.5.5
CE Cache 1.10.1 (license is under linda.modiste on Devot-ee)
I just inherited the management of a site using CE Cache.
It is using the static driver.
Debug is on. yields

using exp:ce_cache:stat:ic seconds=“60” tags=“std_test” at the top of the template
cache breaking settings has the tag std_test set in All Channels
The cache is not broken when an entry is edited.
Last week refreshing seemed to have stopped firing.
I uninstalled, cleared all cache folders and reinstalled.
Cache seemed to start refreshing again.
It now seems intermittent, most pages are set for seconds=“1800”
If I delete the cached file via ftp, it refreshes.
Also, when I go to View Items I get in a popup:
“An unexpected response was received:
error”
Any ideas? I have gone over the settings in config.php, .htaccess, and the static driver many times.
I also tried config[‘ce_cache_curl’] = ‘no’; per a previous post.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated as this site relies heavily on CE Cache.
