I have static caching on and everything seems to be working. However, I enabled debug mode (
private $debug = true;
) in the _static_cache_handler.php to see how fast my pages are being rendered by the driver, but nothing shows. I don’t get an HTML comment at the bottom of the rendered pages. I don’t see it on the view source, that is. Is there something I’m missing?

Hi jayhlee!
Yeah, if debug mode is enabled and nothing is showing at the end of the rendered page’s view-source, then there’s a good chance that the page is not serving from the static cache. Did you update the $cache_folder variable in the _static_cache_handler.php file when you set up the static cache breaking?
Please let me know if the debug output still doesn’t show up. There are some troubleshooting tips to try in the Debug section of the Static Driver Installation page in the CE Cache control panel section, and we can troubleshoot further here too.

Hi Aaron, I basically reinstalled everything and it seemed like that solved the issue. Thanks!

Hello,
I’m having the same issue using EE 2.9.2 and CE Cache 1.10.1.
I can see that static caching is creating the cache files properly, but the cached files aren’t getting served up properly. I’ve tried uninstalling/re-installing and following the Static Driver Installation instructions to the letter but no luck.
Any advice?? We launch in just a few days and we were really hoping to get this in place before then.
