Structure Navigation Title creates a global variable to use as the channel:title parameter in your {exp:structure:nav} tag.
The custom titles option in Structure 3.0 is undoubtably an amazing feature, however, it requires you to hard code “channel_name:custom_field” pairs into the tag. Imagine having 10 Structure managed channels each with their own field for custom titles… your template tag will be incredibly long and difficult to maintain if you add new channels. Having a single global variable available that is always up to date with the correct values ensures you can set the parameter value once, and be done with it.
Usage
{exp:structure:nav mode=“main” channel:title=”{structure_page_titles}”}
