Safe Harbor is a powerful BACKUP module that provides you with automated daily on site and off site backups of your ExpressionEngine websites (Files & DB). Safe Harbor also includes the ability to easily create on demand backups and save backups to Amazon S3 or FTP.

The Safe Harbor module for ExpressionEngine provides On-Site backups and the ability to store your backups on Amazon S3 or to an FTP account of your choice. Alternatively you can also purchase a subscription to our Off-Site backup service. Safe Harbor allows you to easily create backups as you wish as well as automated daily on a given schedule. Restoring your site with Safe Harbor is also a breeze.

Safe Harbor just works. And there’s no reason not to use it on every site with the developer license. It’s part of our default install.

Finally with Safe Harbor I have a solid peace of mind about my EE site. EngineHosting has daily backups but this gives me direct control for restores, etc. Just set it and forget it! Highly recommended!
