Removes the 'Quick Save' button, adds a 'Save as a Copy' button to each entry, allows the use of the 'tab' key when editing templates, and makes many other small but powerful improvements to the control panel.
Here’s what it does:
Publish: Add some text beside indecipherable Upload Button.
Publish: Change or remove the Submit/Update button.
Publish: Change or remove the Quick Save button.
Publish: Change or remove the Preview button.
Publish: Add a “Save As New Copy” checkbox (totally handy)
Publish: Add a tiny link beside the URL Title to view the current entry on the live site.
Publish: Make the “Email” toolbar button better behaved: Leave out the title when it ought to.
Publish: Remove the image button you’ve never used from the toolbar.
Publish: Simplify all user date fields by removing non-essential buttons and links.
Publish: Put the cursor in the Title field faster—AND only if there isn’t already something in the field.
Publish: Add the current date as a number to new URL titles. This is handy for Google News usage.
Site: Remove the “My Account” tab.
Site: Remove the “Modules” tab.
Home Page: Add a link to CP Home Page that lets you edit the CP Home Page (handy!).
Templates: Tab button inserts a tab character like you expect—makes it way easier to edit templates.

Hooks Used
If the add-on is an extension, and ties into ExpressionEngine's core files, it will use ExpressionEngine hooks. We are listing any hooks the add-on uses for developers to have an easier time locating other add-ons that they can reference for their own work.

I love this add-on. It gets a little quirky sometimes (the ‘modify this page’ button on the main CP doesn’t always load on the first try), but otherwise, it’s SUPER helpful. Gets rid of all those pesky things you don’t really need. Muy bueno!

I prefer Publish Improve slightly over the Publish Tweeks extension, because it plays nicer with another really helpful publishing-workflow-tweaker extension, Entry REEdirect. (This is speaking of current versions of all three extensions as of the time of this writing.)

BE AWARE: The review by LaisvunasLaisvunas is the creator of Publish Tweaks. I have no problem with him, but he clearly has a conflict of interest in his recommendation of his product over this one.

This extension has many options, but most of them hardly useful and in general is made obsolete by Publish Tweeks extension.

This simple extension is on my “instant installation” list for all my ExpressionEngine sites.
