An extension for the Simple Commerce Module to handle paid members and membership expiry.

Nathan’s original Paid Members extension was forked and built upon by Ryan Masuga, and is being used right here on devot:ee to manage membership. Masuga Design’s forked and expanded version with more settings and a number of fixes is also “available at GitHub”:http://github.com/mdesign/np.paid_members.ee_addon/tree/master.

A very simple add-on but makes subscription based sites far easier to run with automatic emails prior to renewal and automatically changing a members category upon expiry of their subscription.

This is something that in my opinion should be built-in to EE as standard.
