NSM .htaccess Generator is an extension that modifies your .htaccess file when an entry, page or template is created or updated. It was developed to easily remove index.php from URLs using the "include list method".

I was having trouble getting 301 redirects to work with my custom .htaccess file. I gave this extension a try and it worked like a charm. I did have to customize it slightly, but having a good base file to work from was great. Thanks, Leevi!

In my opinion this version is much easier to use than the previous version for EE1. Works just as described. An invaluable tool if you plan to remove index.php from your URLs.
