SuperSearch Wrangler removes common words from any Solspace Super Search keyword searches to improve the quality of search results. (Requires Solspace Super Search addon).
At the time of writing, the Solspace Super Search addon does not exclude common words from searches, so for example a searcher who includes “the” in their search term will get garbage results.
This extension strips out a whole load of common words before the search is executed, and the EE2 version also allows you to edit the list of excluded words from the extension’s settings area.
Thanks also to John D Wells for tweaking this to make the exclusions case-insensitive.
