Create a dynamic multi-level category based menu. Easy to style with CSS and very flexible.

This plugin aims to make creating dynamic multi-level category menus with ExpressionEngine as easy and flexible as possible. It adds “active” and “open” classes to the menu tree where it needs to so you can easily highlight those with CSS.

It allows you to create a dynamic multi-level category menu for:

  • an entry, by using the entry_id or url_title parameter. It will then create the menu and open up the categories in the menu where the entry has been added to.
  • one or more categories, by using the cat_id or cat_url_title parameter. It will then open up those categories in the menu and show possible child categories.
  • one or more channels or category groups, by using the channel, channel_id or group_id parameter.

Just like ‘GWcode Categories’, this plugin will save you lots and lots of time. And it is free also! huh?
Lots of commercial add ons don’t deliver this kind of value. Categories, you will love them after you’ve installed this one. Thanks Leon!
Did the ee-peeps get in contact yet? ;-)

Such a little monster plug-in!

Now it rocks even more with custom category fields (thanks Leon!!),

I believe that this all should be part of the core functionality in EE one day .

This plugin saved the day for me! Works beautifully.

Leon, the developer, was incredibly helpful and responsive in accommodating a couple of feature requests I had. Top bloke and a credit to the EE community!

This is one of those plugins that should literally be part of the main codebase of ExpressionEngine.

I actually went to Leon and he created this plugin for me as I needed this functionality for a site and he had it created perfectly in under a day. Stellar job, stellar guy, stellar add-on! :-)
