Each month the devot:ee staff picks an add-on that's especially well thought out, well built, and useful. They're add-ons that we love and think you will too!

Channel Images was chosen in July 2012.
Channel Images 5.4.5a - $65.00

DevDemon

Channel Images simplifies use of images within Expression Engine entries. With EE’s default install you must upload individual images one at a time to individual fields or worse embed them them into your text fields. Channel Images removes this default process and simplifies image management. Channel Images includes multi-select image upload for truly simple per-entry image management. Now with cropping, watermark, and more! Complete integration with Wygwam!

MC Curenc-ee Select 2.1.0 - $10.00

Michael Cohen (ProImage)

This fieldtype lets you choose a currency (or currencies) from the official ISO 4217 3-digit currency codes and names. It can be set to either single or multi-select modes, restricted to only show common currencies or all 176 of them, works as either a single tag or a tag pair, has a search-as-you-type filter, and is Matrix and SafeCracker-compatible. Currencies are returned as the 3 digit code (USD, EUR, GBP, etc) - great for interfacing with online services such as PayPal.

eMarketSouth (Ty Wangsness)

The Simple S3 Uploader is a custom field that works like the popular nGen File Field extension except it stores the files (and optional thumbnail) on Amazon S3. Supports image resizing, thumbnails, all sorts of content types, maximum file sizes, and is safe for use in SAEFs.
