Extension

Tags

Lets you link custom fields to any entry of your website. It will let you save a different publish layout for two different entries even if they come from the same channel. Useful for static pages such as contact, about pages, etc... Plus, its support member groups.

Usage

  1. Install the Extentions in Add-Ons / Extensions
  2. Create a new Custom Fields Group “Static Fields”
  3. Create a new channel, let’s say “Static Pages”
  4. Link the Custom Fields Group to the Channel, in the Channel Group Preferences
  5. Now create a new page, save it, and edit it (entry needs to be saved at least once)
  6. Display/Hide the fields you want, select members groups and click “Save Entry Layout”
  7. This layout will only be used when editing that specific page

This was formerly called “Entry Fields”.

Development discontinued, feel free to get in touch if you are interested in taking leadership.

Hooks Used

If the add-on is an extension, and ties into ExpressionEngine's core files, it will use ExpressionEngine hooks. We are listing any hooks the add-on uses for developers to have an easier time locating other add-ons that they can reference for their own work.

  1. sessions_end
  2. publish_form_channel_preferences

Love this! Helps us keep channel fields within the entries vs global settings (i.e., Low Variables).

Really like using this plugin in conjunction with structure.  Lets you create page (entry) specific layouts using one Static Page Channel/FieldGroup.  Typically my pages will pull data from that static page entry and then any other channel listing tags that need to be added.  Very slick!

Erm might just be me being silly but how do you go about purchasing this?

The link below sends me to the developer site and the developer download button sends me back here again with no option to purchase here.

A bit of a loop going on here :-(
