- Low Variables
- Better Workflow
- jQuery for the Control Panel
Now its not just a hit song from the Black Eyed Peas, Where is the LV? allows you to place a Low Variables link in the Structure main page so it is easier to access.
Place a Low Variables link in the Structure main page. When we build a site with Structure, most of the time we end up teaching the client about pages, listings and assets, all of which are accessible on Structure’s main page, and Low Variables, which are hard to find unless you are specifically shown where to find them. Where is the LV? adds a link to Low Variables near the top of the Structure module’s main page next to the All Pages and (if you have any Assets configured) Assets links. It also allows you to rename that link if you desire.
BEFORE INSTALLATION, PLEASE NOTE:
- Encaf Where is the LV? will not do anything if Structure is not installed.
- Encaf Where is the LV? will not do anything if Low Variables is not installed.
- Be sure you have Structure and Low Variables installed (accessory will not work without them).
- Place the where_is_the_lv folder in your system > expressionengine > third_party folder.
- Navigate to the Add-Ons > Accessories page in your Control Panel and install the Accessory.
The default link name is ‘Low Variables’. If you want the tab to have a different title, add the following variable to your config.php file:
$config[‘lv_link_name’] = ‘Your Link Name’;
There is nothing you need to do. The Low Variables link will appear near the top of the Structure module’s main page next to the All Pages and (if you have any Assets configured) Assets links.
