ReeMember allows you to automate membership activation reminders and pending member pruning in ExpressionEngine 2.x membership sites through a CRON job.
USAGE
- When first enabled, no pending members will be deleted regardless of their join date. Delete date is based off of the date when a reminder email was sent. If no reminder email has been sent yet, the member won’t be deleted.
- The reminder emails will be sent according to the cron job you have set up and will be sent to any pending members whose join date is older than the number of days you specified. This is recorded in their member record so that they can be deleted in the future based on this date and your setting.
- Once the emails are sent and the chosen number of days for pending member deletion has passed, members with accounts older than your chosen number of days will be deleted.
