Edit This gives logged-in users a little pencil icon that is an instant link from your public site to directly edit specific entries, templates, and categories in the control panel, based on the viewing user's permissions.
Specifically, you can create:
* Add a link inside an entry to edit that entry;
* Add a link at the top of a page to edit that page’s template;
* Add a link next to a category name to edit that category;
* Add a link in a photo gallery entry to edit that entry.
The link will only appear if the viewer is logged in and has sufficient privileges to edit the targeted content. You can use the default pencil icon (in various colors, cool!) or completely customize the text and placement of the link.

This is one of the add-ons that I include with EVERY installation of EE I make. It’s one of those things that you realize should actually be integrated into EE itself. One bit of code, and you can jump straight to an entry to edit it from the front end, no hunting around in the CP.
