Disposition adds sorting capabilities to the edit list page by altering the entry_date for each entry in the list.
Disposition is a proof of concept add-on only. I am not actively supporting it.
It does not require any custom fields or changes to your template (if you want to display entries in descending order) since it sorts based on the entry_date.
Disposition may not be for everyone or every purpose. If your entries need accurate entry dates, don’t use Disposition. If the entry dates are irrelevant, Disposition will work for you.
The extension settings page lets you define which Channels are sortable, so not everything is sortable by default.

Great simplicity placing this in the Edit menu and does exactly what it says. Using IE9, my clients and I are finding it doesn’t work until you filter the results, though.
