The Category Checkboxes Extension is a checkbox replacement for the categories multi-select box on the Publish page of your ExpressionEngine control panel.

I used it on the last 4-5 projects I have been working on and have absolutely fallen in love with it. Added height constraints from page 6 of the forums and Tim’s update and it is top notch. Would give a client a site with out it

By the time you’ve explained to clients they have to use shift and command in a multi-select box they’ve already forgotten how to do it :)

A must have. I fixed a JS error that occurred when you weren’t showing at categories tab. I’ve pushed it to GitHub.

Don’t underestimate the difference it makes to convert the standard multi-select category box into checkboxes, especially when giving the site to less savvy clients. This is excellent, and another of my default installs.
