Abysmal support (takes weeks for even a reply to a support ticket), sloppy coding (spent 10+ hours fixing critical code) and unprofessional (one excuse for not responding to tickets was ‘we were having our office painted’). I’m embarrassed for them, and for me (I have a very unhappy client).

THE most important thing that people underestimate when buying professional products is support. You may not need it but when you do you need issues solved quickly and thats exactly what you get with Brilliant Retail. It’s also a great e-commerce system with regular updates and has been a joy to use

slightly difficult to get the hang of the code but amazing support to get you through!!

BrilliantRetail is great for getting a site with e-commerce up and running very quickly! Easy to use for devs as well as clients.

We chose BR as the e-commerce solution for one of our most exciting projects. Easy to install & quick to learn! Gauging the flexibility with design, intuitive UI , and outstanding support (thanks David!) we will use (and we recommend) BR as the e-commerce solution for EE from here on out!

After looking at the options we chose BrilliantRetail for a project and couldn’t be happier. The client loves the intuitive dashboard and as a developer it doesn’t get much better. Well documented, extensible and gets regular updates. If you want to do e-commerce in EE look no further.

Good in concept, but extremely limited and very buggy.  After trying Exp:resso’s Store, have not looked back!

Amazing module - not sure what we would have done without it. We were able to deploy a robust ecommerce site with tons of flexibility in design and user experience. Best support I’ve had from any third-party developer. I know we’ll be using this on future projects.

Finally, an e-commerce solution for EE that I can understand, design with, and implement in any way that I want. There is a short learning curve and the CP for 1.0.3.0 leaves a bit to be desired but overall, it works well and the support is great. I look forward to the future releases.

I was nervous about integrating a cart anywhere, but finding BrilliantRetail made everything a lot easier. The customer service is exceptional, and I chose BrilliantRetail to take care of my initial (simple) needs as well as grow with me as my store grows.

This plugin is a great addition to your site. 

Admittedly the plugin a few bugs in the earlier version which i downloaded.  However that was dealt with quickly by the team.  The newer release has already fixed those errors so feel confident in moving forward with BR.

Brilliant retail worked for me in getting two sites up quickly and efficiently. The payment gateways set up flawlessly and the support has been quick. The new 1.0.2.4 shipping matrix is very flexible! I think the community will only help this plugin grow… Easy to implement, easy to teach clients!

Firstly, the support is some of the best I’ve experienced to date. The system is very flexible and dead easy to use. This product has been a life saver.

So far BrilliantRetail has been fun to implement and pretty straight forward. The support team is phenomenal as well.

This addon has potential to be really good. The product is in the beginning stages and has a few bugs but are being worked out quickly. Customer support is second to none. If you want ecommerce for expressionengine this is the fast forward button.

This was my first experience integrating expressionengine 2 and e-commerce and I can say that I don’t think it could have been easier. Integrating it into my site and with shipping and payment gateways was simple and intuitive. The default templates that are included are a big help getting started!

Been doing A LOT of testing with BR. I really wanted to put it to the test against CT, which I’ve extensively used. Are there bugs? Yes, but most are minor and support is excellent. I think in time, this is going to be an amazing e-commerce tool. For now, it’s a good tool, and I’d recommend it.

BrilliantRetail has been a breeze to put into action with our development process. Everything in the shopping cart has been well thought out and impeccably implemented. BR has always been quick to reply to all of my questions and concerns. Also I have found the support forums to be a great resource.

Absolutely love Brilliant Retail! We’re currently using it with three of our e-Commerce clients, two of them we converted our old custom cart to BR. We ran across two bugs which their support squashed in a matter of 30 minutes. Was so happy to this release as waiting for CT for EE2 was a nightmare.

At last an e-commerce solution for expression engine with a great feature list. This module fits the bill and we will be using it for all our e-commerce projects going forward. The tech support is excellent.

At this point there are still too many bugs to use this as a live shopping cart. There are numerous, small, yet obvious, issues that need to be addressed (like shipping). On the plus side, the cart has amazing potential and will likely be a great cart one day.

The software works well, and has gained more features per release. Its as robust and as flexible as it needs to be it does everything I want it to. We recommend this as a proper e-commerce option for any EE site and the guys at BR have been amazing with support and suggestions. two thumbs up!

There are a LOT of bugs and i think its not ready for implementing yet , also there are some issues with paypal support especially paypal express , i hope it gets worked out .
