This extension will display your custom field {short_name} after the field label in the publish/edit form.

if you’re tired of hopping back and forth to your “edit custom field names” page and then clicking through to the field group to look up a custom field name when you’re generating your templates, this will make your life a little easier. Once installed, If you visit your publish/edit pages, your custom field short names will be visible after the field label.

Caveat: It’s not limited to any specific user group or level, anyone that has access to your publish/edit forms on the control panel will see this, which may cause confusion with any non-developers publishing on your site.

This little extension is indispensable on any site that a team of developers is working on. It’s pretty darn useful for solos too.

One of the most simple, yet useful enhancements to the CP there is.
