Devot:ee is dropping like it's hot!

The site is ready for your grimy mice to click all over it. (Sure there's plenty of things I'd like to add, but the time has come to launch and we'll progressively enhance…of course). The add-on library demands to be free!

Launch Giveaway - 16 Total Prizes

You can't have a real launch without giveaways, so let's get to it. We had some very generous sponsors donate add-ons, so let's give a round of applause for the sponsors:

Sponsors

Devot:ee is a site focusing on add-ons, so the prizes reflect that. The prizes consist of: ExpressionEngine licenses (4), EE Discussion Forum (1), Multi-Site Manager (1), Playa 2 (5), LG Better Meta (5), NSM Publish Plus (5), MD Markitup (5), and Amazon gift certificates (3).

Prizes

Grand Prize

One solid, "complete"-ly awesome ExpressionEngine install, including some of the best add-ons out there:

Second Prize

Third Prize

Other Prizes (13 Total)

We haven't done the math, but we're fairly certain those are some hefty - and very useful - prizes.

We're looking forward to launching the site, getting feedback (and probably plenty of bug reports), helping developers and having a good time with the whole thing. Remember that we're on twitter (@devot_ee), and that if you haven't signed up to be notified about when the site actually goes live (May 1, 2009 - no specific time!) you may want to sign up on the main site. Hope to see you around!

Some rules and whatnot: You will need to register at devot:ee (devot-ee.com) to be entered. Only those members registering at "devot:ed" level will be eligible for the top three prizes. Once the winners of those three top prizes have been determined, the remaining prizes will be available to all registered members (free and devot:ed). Winners will be chosen at random. Users can register as a member on devot:ee until May 31, 2009 midnight (EST). More details will be provided after the site launches. Winners will be announced in mid-June. If you have specific questions, please .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Here's a link to the full size newspaper picture, if you're interested. *cough* Konami? What?

GEEK ALERT

Someone like you really needs devot:ee to keep you occupied.
Are you in your mom's basement right now?

Did you do the code? You did? Email me with the subject "Kenny Smash!" and let me know how hip you are,
and I might just buy you a beer the next time I see you. Seriously.
